At times, the Crab Fly will out fish even the Spoon Fly!

Larger fish seem to take this fly over any other. Generally fish over 20 pounds will want a larger Crab.

To me, fishing the Crab en-hances the experience. Before the fish takes the fly he must be fooled into believing that it is a real crab. The fish will often closely examine the fly before the take. The thrill of watching the fish study your fly before eating it is something you won't soon forget.
